DesignTebe is a visual asset studio built for game developers, by designers who understand the technical and creative needs of real-time development. Whether you're working on a minimalist puzzle game, a cozy life sim, or a mobile idle clicker—our visuals adapt to your mechanics, your audience, and your platform.

No overused asset packs. No mismatched templates. Only custom-designed visuals tailored to your game’s identity.

About DesignTebe

Designed by artists. Optimized for engines. Aligned with your gameplay

Founded by a team of UI/UX specialists and 2D/3D artists, DesignTebe focuses on personalized visual design solutions for indie game teams and solo developers. We believe your game's visuals shouldn't come from a generic pack—they should emerge from your core mechanics, genre, and player emotion.

We work in short, focused cycles, combining rapid design sprints with developer-facing documentation. Our designs are delivered clean, compatible, and ready to integrate into Unity, Godot, Unreal, or your custom engine.

Testimonials

What Our Clients Say

  • “They know how to design for both player and developer.”

The UI wasn't just beautiful—it was readable, scalable, and easy to implement. Their documentation saved us days of dev time. They proactively caught UX issues we hadn’t noticed. It's rare to find artists who understand engine constraints and still produce stunning work. Highly recommend for any indie team.

    user

    Daniel S.

    Unity Developer, Softmath Games

  • “They created assets that felt like they were always meant to be there.”

We handed them a rough prototype and a wishlist of aesthetics. The final result exceeded expectations. Clean, modular, and intuitive UI that fit right into Unity with no technical hassle. Their layered files were a dream to work with. Communication was always clear, and we felt like they understood our creative language.

    user

    Alexei M.

    Game Director, Foxtwin Studios

  • “Their process was clean, structured, and collaborative.”

From the styleboard phase to final delivery, every step felt organized. They responded quickly to feedback, provided smart alternatives, and were never precious about revisions. It felt like we had an internal art department, not an external vendor. The custom icons for our booster system turned out fantastic.

    user

    Yuko T.

    UI Producer, NeonJunction Studio

  • “We launched with confidence thanks to their visuals.”

Our early beta testers complained about confusing layouts and unclear text hierarchy. DesignTebe overhauled our interface and added much-needed cohesion. Our app store screenshots now actually reflect the gameplay quality. We’ve since recommended them to three other indie teams.

    user

    Marco D.

    Co-Founder, Solarbean Games

  • “They understood the vibe instantly.”

We had a narrative-driven puzzle game with a surreal tone, and they matched that with quiet, poetic UI. Soft gradients, thoughtful button placement, even animated transitions that felt like part of the story. The atmosphere wouldn’t have worked without their design.

    user

    Leila M.

Leila M., Writer & Game Designer

  • “Reliable, fast, and deeply artistic.”

We were on a tight timeline and needed a full reskin for an idle game. They delivered layered assets, hover states, and slice-ready buttons in a single week. The end result looked like it came from a premium publisher. No wasted time. No fluff.

    user

    Jared R.

    Lead Designer, Tapspawn LLC

  • “They asked better questions than we did.”

Their discovery call surfaced visual problems we didn’t realize were hurting onboarding. They proposed UI solutions with real UX thinking behind them. Not just pretty—strategic. Our tutorial drop-off rate dropped by 20% after we implemented their layout.

    user

    Sasha V.

    UX Lead, Cartesia Digital

  • “They work with love, not just software.”

The care they put into our visual systems was visible in every corner—textures, lighting, text readability. Their passion for games shows in the smallest details. This wasn’t outsourcing. It was a creative partnership.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All DesignTebe assets are made exclusively for each client. We don’t use stock templates or resell visuals from past projects. Every icon, UI element, or tileset is built around your style guide or gameplay context. Once delivered, those assets belong solely to your project. You’ll never see them reused in someone else’s game. We take visual originality as seriously as technical polish.

  • We support Unity (including UI Toolkit and Canvas), Godot (v3 and v4), Unreal UMG, and custom engines. Deliverables can include PNG, SVG, PSD, or sliced assets, depending on what your pipeline requires. We also provide texture atlases, JSON metadata for automated placement, or custom font files when needed. If you’re using a WebGL or HTML5 game framework, we adapt to PixiJS or Phaser formats as well. Just let us know your engine in the initial briefing.

  • Most projects take between 1 and 3 weeks depending on scope and feedback rounds. A basic UI pack or reskin may be completed within 7–10 business days. More complex work involving multiple states, animations, or environments may take up to 4 weeks. We can accommodate urgent timelines with prior notice and limited scope. Our priority is always to balance speed with intentional, high-quality design. You’ll receive a clear production schedule before we begin.

  • Yes. Every project includes 1 to 2 revision rounds built into the base cost. These are for visual changes, feedback tweaks, or usability adjustments—not full reworks. We aim to clarify the style direction early with mockups to avoid major shifts later. Additional revision rounds can be added at an hourly rate or flat fee depending on scope. Our goal is always to deliver assets you're completely happy with.

  • We require a 50% deposit to begin work, and the remaining 50% upon final delivery. Payment is accepted via PayPal, Wise, or bank transfer (EU/UK clients). For returning clients, we also offer milestone-based invoicing for larger packages. A detailed scope and payment breakdown is provided with each proposal. We do not charge hidden fees—what you agree to upfront is what you pay.

  • We specialize in UI/UX but also offer character sprites, environment tilesets, and in-game iconography. We do not currently provide 3D models, full concept art, or cutscene animation. However, we can work with your team’s 3D pipeline to design texture maps or interface layers for 3D spaces. If you need branding or game logos, we can include that as part of a larger visual package.

  • Our workflow starts with a discovery call or questionnaire where you share your game’s genre, platform, player base, and visual references. We then create 2–3 visual mockups to define the direction. Once approved, we begin structured asset delivery in weekly milestones. You receive updates at each phase and have a chance to give feedback. Final delivery includes export-ready assets and documentation for implementation.

  • Yes. We accept micro-projects with a minimum engagement of $100. Whether you need a quick ability icon set or a restyled pause menu, we can scope that for you. These smaller tasks are typically delivered in 3–5 business days. Micro-projects follow the same quality process and include one revision round. For consistent small tasks, we also offer monthly retainer options.

  • Yes, we provide 5 to 10 business days of post-delivery support. This includes guidance on integration, format adjustments, or troubleshooting compatibility issues. We want our work to look and function exactly as expected in your engine. You can also reach out later if you expand your game and need new assets in the same visual style. Long-term clients often return to extend their design system over time.

  • Yes. All our UI and visual design work is delivered with layered files unless otherwise requested. PSD, Figma, or Illustrator formats are available based on your project needs. We also provide flattened PNGs and optimized exports for engines that require lightweight textures. Clear folder naming, resolution scaling, and export instructions are part of every package. You get full control over your files post-delivery.

  • Absolutely. We’ve worked with studios, freelancers, and educators in more than a dozen countries including Canada, Brazil, Singapore, South Africa, and Australia. All communication is handled in English, and assets are delivered digitally via secure cloud folders. We accommodate timezone differences with asynchronous updates. Whether you’re building a small mobile game or an interactive installation, we’re happy to adapt to your location and workflow.
